OREO CHEESECAKE

It is incredibly easy to make any time at home. Your family will love it especially the kids.

 

Let me share with you a simple Oreo Cheesecake Recipe. But before that, you will need quick tips on making one. You need to make sure you plan ahead of time since Oreo cheesecake needs time. It has to be in the fridge for about 4-6 hours. Make sure the cold ingredients are at room temperature before you start mixing the filling. Lastly, have an extra bag of cookies for some decorations on top. This is optional but, you know it is always fun be a little extra sometimes especially for the family. INGREDIENTS

 

* 1/4 cup butter

* 38 Oreo cookies

* 3 cups of cream cheese

* 65 grams of sugar

* 1 cup of milk

* 1 tablespoon of gelatin

* 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

 

DIRECTIONS

 

1.) Prepare 2 bowls. One for cream and one for the cookies. Put the cookies into a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or a clean bottle until it turns into fine crumbs. Set aside 1/2 cup of crumbs for later use.

 

2.) In a bowl, pour the cookie crumbs and melted butter then mix thoroughly. Press cookie crumbs in an even layer into the bottom of a 9-inch spring form pan then set aside.

 

3.) Mix the cream from the cookies together with the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract then stir until it is free of lumps.

 

4.) Mix milk with gelatin in a cup until dissolved then pour milk into the cream cheese mixture. Stir until it bubbles then remove from heat.

 

5.) Pour mixture over the cookie crust in the springform pan and smoothen the top using a spatula or spoon.

 

6.) Put the cookie crumbs you saved on top of the cheesecake and even out the layer.

 

7.) Refrigerate for 4 hours and serve!
