Some of the unwanted scents in your kitchen are the carpet or any other fiber-made stuff. Sprinkling a natural deodorizer onto your carpets before you vacuum can help in neutralizing the nasty smell easier and faster. It also leaves a light and fresh scent. For a natural deodorizing powder, you will only need 1/2cup borax, 1/2 cup baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Combine everything in a bowl and stir until the mixture is free of lumps. To use, shake and sprinkle the powder into your carpets and let it stay for about 15 minutes before you start vacuuming.
